Noorduyn Norseman

Here is our new NOORDUYN NORSEMAN, well known as an outstanding bush plane in Canada, and during WWII as a very useful utility aircraft. Canada and the U.S. both used this plane during the war and after WWII many were sold to bush country operators where they were used until the late '70's. Our interesting paint scheme is one used by Northway Aviation in 1974.

Our Norseman kit is really enjoyable with a lot of interesting building. There are full size ink drawings, hand selected wood, aluminum strap landing gear and all parts are cut in this excellent kit. The Norseman is a fabric covered aircraft with a large engine, so yes, it performs well. It does a great short field take-off and the flaps ensure a slow and stable approach and landing every time. Touch and Goes are awesome as this big aircraft lumbers through the sky.

The Norseman is 1/5 scale and has a 102" span. with 1450 sq. inch wing area. The length is 65" and weight is 16-18 lbs. We recommend an engine that can swing an 18" prop. Our Norseman has a Mokki 1.8 installed which makes the Norseman a spectacular short-field operator and a thrill to fly!
